Notts Wildlife Trust, conservation groups including Friends of Toton Fields, set up stall in Beeston Square today. MP, Anna Soubry showed her support by hooking a duck!

Broxtowe Borough Council has decided to introduce charges for the collection of garden waste from 10th March this year.  I have been contacted by a good number of constituents who are disappointed at this decision, especially because many say that they have not been contacted at all by the Borough Council.

Anna Soubry MP has today written to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Eric Pickles MP, with a petition of over 1,200 signatures in opposition to an open cast mine at Shortwood Farm in the constituency.
