Nottinghamshire County Council is set to announce plans to close Kingsbridge Way Short Break Centre at its Budget Allocation on February 27th. Anna Soubry MP is opposed to these plans which will not only close an extremely well used and highly valued service, but will also leave a significant gap in quality care provision within the constituency.

Broxtowe MP, Anna Soubry has given her full support to independent shop keepers in Stapleford. "Everyone concerned with Stapleford town centre needs to work together to support shops, traders throughout the town." said Anna after hearing criticism that some businesses are feeling left out and ignored.

Anna Soubry visited the Hovis Bakery in Watnall on Friday. Over 470 people work, 7 days a week 24 hours a day at the bakery producing a huge array of breads and "breakfast goods" for Hovis and own brand supermarkets.
