Broxtowe MP Anna Soubry has welcomed the merger of Castle College and South Nottingham College. Castle was a merger of various Colleges in the Nottingham area including Broxtowe College in Beeston and the Arthur Mee Centre in Stapleford. Anna Said:
“I am pleased there is stability and a more secure future for Castle College” said Anna “I very much hope the Ellis Grove workshops and the Arthur Mee Centre will be kept open in what I appreciate have been difficult times for Castle College.”
The Minister for Further Education, John Hayes approved the merger which has to go through a formal proceedure in Parliament.
