As the clocks go back an hour today Anna Soubry welcomes moves for a review into how we set our time.
Anna Said: “Today marks the beginning of winter and dark nights drawing in. If the Scots agreed I think we should consider not moving the clocks in late Autumn. It will benefit children allowing themto play sport outdoors after school. There are many other advantages. I am also keen to explore whether we could have longer summer evenings. I think it is time for a full review which would include looking at how we can run on the same clock as our European colleagues.”
Anna has supported a Private Members Bill going through Parliament sponsored by Rebecca Harris MP.
