Tribute to Kimberley’s “Frankie Martin”

Tributes are pouring in following the unexpected death of Ian “Jock” Campbell who was also known as singer Frankie Martin. Jock had served on Kimberley Town Council and died earlier this week at just 53 years of age. Jock was well known and terrifically popular as a singer in and around Kimberley. A couple of years ago he spent a year singing every night in pubs across the country to more money for Help for Heroes. “Jock was a great man – fabulous voice and he raised almost £200,000 for Help for Heores. We will all miss him and my thoughts are with his mum Joyce, partner Jo, Jock’s children and everyone who knew and loved him” said Anna Soubry
