An All Party Parliamentary Group is an informal group of Members who join together to pursue a particular topic or interest. It is essentially run by and for Members of the Commons and Lords, although many groups involve individuals and organisations from outside Parliament in their administration and activities.

Anna is the Co-Chair of the APPG on EU Relations. The aim of the group is to work to secure the best and closest possible relationship with the EU and its 27 member countries who have been our allies, partners and friends in building a better UK and a better world. More information can be found here.

Anna is Chair of the APPG on British Muslims. The purpose of the APPG on British Muslims is to inform Parliament and Parliamentarians of, and to harness their support for, the aspirations and challenges of British Muslim communities; to promote and celebrate their contributions; and to investigate the forms, manifestations and extent of prejudice, discrimination and hatred against Muslims in the UK.

Anna is Vice Chair of the APPG on HIV Aids. There are almost 37 million people in the world living with HIV, the majority of whom still cannot get access to life-saving treatment. Here in the UK there are over 100,000 people living with HIV, thousands of whom are still undiagnosed. Until they know about their infection, they too cannot benefit from treatment.
