An All Party Parliamentary Group is an informal group of Members who join together to pursue a particular topic or interest. It is essentially run by and for Members of the Commons and Lords, although many groups involve individuals and organisations from outside Parliament in their administration and activities.
Anna is the Co-Chair of the APPG on EU Relations. The aim of the group is to work to secure the best and closest possible relationship with the EU and its 27 member countries who have been our allies, partners and friends in building a better UK and a better world. Anna is Chair of the APPG on British Muslims. The purpose of the APPG on British Muslims is to inform Parliament and Parliamentarians of, and to harness their support for, the aspirations and challenges of British Muslim communities; to promote and celebrate their contributions; and to investigate the forms, manifestations and extent of prejudice, discrimination and hatred against Muslims in the UK.
