Broxtowe MP Anna Soubry has secured a debate in the House of Commons this evening on access to Beeston Station.
Friends of Beeston Station have long campaigned for better access through the installation of lifts on both platforms. National Rail’s current advice for changing between the two platforms is to get a taxi from one side to the other.
The Government provides funding every five years to help improve access at stations.
