The the new owners of the New White Bull have submitted an appeal to the Planning Inspectorate after the original planning application for ‘change of use’ was unanimously rejected by the Borough Council’s planning committee. Submissions were accepted up until the 16th October, and we are now awaiting the Inspectorate’s hearing which will occur in January. Anna has written to the planning inspectorate in support of the decision.
Anna’s view is that the New White Bull is a local community asset and should therefore remain a pub. She will soon be meeting with the new owners to discuss their plans further.
The appeal will be heard in January 2016.
