Skills Minister Matthew Hancock MP joined Broxtowe MP Anna Soubry for a visit to Bridgeway Consulting in Beeston. The 500 plus employer is a major training provider for the railway industry.
Matthew met apprentices and of Bridgeway’s great work in the railway industry including training hundreds of workers.
There is a serious shortage of skilled railway workers which the Government is addressing with plans for a specialised college to provide world class workers for the HS2 project.
Bridgeway boss Pino de Rosa and his team showed Matthew and Anna around the offices based on Beeston Business Park.
