Where: Queen Elizabeth II Playing Fields in Broadgate Park, Beeston.

What's on: Broxtowe Borough will be ensuring the local area is fit for the Queen with a special day of litter picking, as part of a national ‘Clean for the Queen’ campaign ahead of her 90th Birthday.

Volunteers will help clean Broxtowe Borough Council’s four designated Queen Elizabeth II Playing Field sites at the following times and locations:

Queen Elizabeth Park, Stapleford, 10.30am – 12.30pm

Hall Om Wong Open Space, Kimberley, 10.30am – 12.30pm

The Council’s Housing Team will also be inviting residents to take part in this national event at an Estate Clean-up in Chilwell. A skip will be available at Ulldale Court from 10.00am to 1.00pm to help residents get rid of rubbish and tidy up the area, along with information and refreshments.
