Nottinghamshire County Council have announced that six of their residential homes have found a buyer.
The deal said to net the Council £2.5 million is with Runwood Homes one of the country’s most reputable providers of residential homes for the elderly who specialise in dementia.
Anna Soubry has always opposed the sale of Bramwell. “It seems a real knock down prive and of course half of the County’s homes have not found a buyer. I am calling on Notts County Council to assure us that this is a financially sound deal that will net long term savings to council tax payers as well as the £2.5 million. If they cant give that guarantee then this sale should not go ahead,”
The Council meets on Thursday September 22nd to make a final decision.
