Member of Parliament for Broxtowe, Anna Soubry MP, has welcomed the Chancellor’s announcement today that fuel duty is to be frozen and the planned 3p rise in August will not be imposed.
Talking about today’s announcement, Anna Soubry said:
“The planned rise in August was part of Labour’s failed fuel duty policy. Today’s announcement is very good news for hard working families and businesses.
We now need to make sure the price at the pumps reflects the falling cost of petrol and diesel and ensure motorists pay fair prices and are not being ripped off. “
