Anna Soubry MP has pledged her support for Cancer Research’s campaign to improve early diagnosis. Anna was a guest at the charity’s annual House of Commons reception.
Anna said, “We know how important early diagnosis is to improve the outcomes for cancer patients. Our rates are not as good as they should be so I am delighted we have the ‘be clear on cancer campaign’ and this week sees the return of last year’s successful lung cancer campaign.”
Anna praised the work of Cancer Research UK who not only raise millions for research but also lead a number of cancer related campaigns. Anna added, “The Government has invested £750 million over five years to improve screening and provide better access to early diagnosis and treatment”.
