Anna Soubry MP pays tribute to local charity’s work in the fight against Brain Tumours

During Health questions on Tuesday 27th November, Anna Soubry, MP for Broxtowe, answered a question from Mary Macleod MP on the steps the Government is taking to raise awareness of and assist those who have brain tumours.

In her answer, which mentioned the Government’s promotion of direct access to MRI scans and a pilot scheme to alert people to the symptoms of common cancers, Anna championed the work of local charity Headcase Cancer Trust.  Headcase, which is based in Beeston, raises considerable amounts of money to fund research projects to find a cure for Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) brain tumours.
