Anna Soubry MP for Broxtowe will be speaking at a public meeting on Thursday 18th July to discuss Broxtowe Borough Council’s plans to build hundreds of houses on Green Belt land around Kimberley.
The meeting, which is being organised by local residents, will take place after Planning Minister, Nick Boles, visits Broxtowe.
Speaking ahead of next Thursday, Anna said, “I am delighted Nick Boles is coming to Broxtowe. There are strict rules that he can’t visit controversial sites, but I will endeavour to show him why our Green Belt land in Broxtowe is so precious and why we want to keep it that way. I will then join Kimberley residents to see how best we can continue our fight to save this precious land.”
The public meeting will take place from 7pm-9pm at the Holy Trinity Church, Kimberley, 1 Eastwood Road, NG16 2HX.
