Anna Soubry MP for Broxtowe attended 170 Engineer Group’s Parade through Stapleford on Saturday 4th May.
170 Engineer Group (based at Chetwynd Barracks) were exercising their Right of Entry granted by Broxtowe Borough Council and were accompanied by the Nottinghamshire Band of Royal Engineers and veterans.
Following the Parade, Anna said, “Our soldiers do a remarkable job in the most difficult of circumstances showing great courage in the face of injury and death. The weather was poor, but hundreds of people turned out in Stapleford to welcome 170 (infrastructure support group) Engineers and thank them. It was a great morning and an honour to be there.”
