Anna Soubry welcomes ban on wild animals in circuses

Last months circus off Bardills roundabout provoked controversy and Anna called on people not to visit it. " I spoke out publicly against the use of wild animals in circuses and called on the Government to introduce stricter regulation " said Anna "it is going to be difficult to draft legislation to ban this horrid abuse of wild animals but I am pleased the Government has now announced tough new regulations which I hope will have the same effect as a ban. " Yesterday, Parliament debated the issue and unanimously agreed to a motion calling for a ban on the use of wild animals in circuses after years of Labour inaction.
