A plaque to commemorate Thomas Humber, founder of the Humber Company (bicycles, motorcycles and later cars) will be unveiled on the Humber Road frontage of the Dojo Karate Club (formerly the Humber Co. showroom) on Sunday 21st August at 2:15pm. Vintage Humber vehicles will also hopefully be present!

The plaques are part of a collaborative scheme involving the Beeston & District Local History Society, the Beeston and District Civic Society and the Stapleford and District Local History Society.
